The OG femme fatale, Euripedes’ sorceress-seducer, Jason’s golden goose: Medea was the goddess who could have had it all. But, much like dancer, actress and Gaulier-trained clown April Small, things haven’t quite worked out in her favour.

A heartfelt and humane swansong to a career that never started, join (famously blood-phobic) April as she tackles the injustices faced by women throughout history – including her own. Expect a journey from the highest peaks of foolery to the deepest depths of tragedy, via two years of development, Zoom meetings and a whole lot of home-made prop crafting.

Passionately performed for all those who have been shut up, shut down or shut out, Bloody Medea!! is a tour-de-force physical comedy for anyone who refuses to go down without a fight… or at least a laugh.
